Here's a sneaky preview of our soon to be released iPhone game, Inkstruments™, in collaboration with illustrator Jon Burgerman. It's a crazy sound game where you conduct a chorus of Burgerman characters, who play different sounds when they are touched. It's pure nonsensical, magical madness ustwo™/Burgerman style! ustwo™ has redesigned the website for Channel 4’s weekend youth and entertainment show, T4.

Today sees the launch of the new ustwo™ designed T4 website. ustwo™ was appointed by Channel 4 and Princess Productions to restyle the T4 website and add a touch of their Granimation™ magic to it. ustwo™ gave the site a fresh, energetic feel with high colour, expressive motion and lots of energy...graphical madness! ustwo™ has also designed a couple of social network tools that help viewers feel part of the T4 experience.

The ripples of a new viral campaign, masterminded by ustwo™, have started to spread, with thousands of people filming themselves using the new iPhone app MouthOff™. The campaign site, called 'showusyourmouthoff', is being hit with YouTube clips of people, babies, dogs and more using the MouthOff™ app, which syncs an animated mouth in realtime with the sound of your own voice.

Here's an excerpt from ustwo's acceptance speech - "We'd like to thank the amazing designers and developers at ustwo™ who made this work possible - Laffers, Nige and whoever the other one is, oh yes Edo. We can't believe this is really happening to us, its incredible! We are indebted to Sony Ericsson for having faith in us, to our parents for their unconditional love..." We had to cut it short there because Mills, Sinx and Marcus went on a bit with all the thank yous and kept bursting into tears of joy Kate Winslet style.

ustwo™ will be landing in Barcelona this month to attend the Mobile World Congress, the world's largest exhibition and seminar for the mobile industry. We'll be on the Adobe stand showcasing our Capuchin Last.fm Gig Finder, produced in collaboration with Sony Ericsson using Navteq and Decarta services. ustwo™ has created a micro-site for Malmö city showcasing their urban regeneration project 'kika in i framtiden' ('look into the future').

The project aims to create a more sustainable Malmö by reducing car traffic through initiatives including improved public transport, cycle paths and walkways. Malmö residents contributed ideas about how 3 public areas in Malmö could be improved. The results were used to create a series of 3D panoramic images of the areas as they might look in the future. The panoramas can be viewed through binocular-like viewers installed at the 3 sites.

The ustwo™ designed website is an awareness raising campaign for the project and allows the public to contribute to the discussion and shape the future of their city.

In honour of London Design Festival, we thought it was about time we got something in our window. A balloon chandelier was the obvious choice! Hopefully they'll all survive the week...

Last week we celebrated the launch of the ustwo™ Malmö studio with a big party and lots of champagne for all our cliends™ (clients and friends). So far the branch in Sweden has extended the ustwo™ family by two new designers and a developer, plus five of the existing team have relocated to show the ustwo™ love to Scandinavia!

We set up a small team to build an RSS Reader application for our next Android project . A simpler application than the one we did for last.fm, the focus this time was on UI, transitions and how to animate Layouts & Views in Android applications.

Yale University will discuss the project in their next website publication.

We were asked by interior decorators flaunt-it* to design a website showcasing their recent projects, to work as a portfolio for future clients. The commissioning of painters and decorators is predominantly done by women, so the site needed to be attractive to females, while illustrating the gap in the market that flaunt-it* bridge between renovation and interior design. Take a look.

We're currently setting up our first international studio in Malmö, Sweden, which is due to open on the 1st July. Not only that, we're opening another studio on our existing patch in Shoreditch. Small is beautiful, it's true. But bigger is better!

Conservation Uncovered is a 3 yr exhibit focusing on the conservational work carried out by the British Library, which ranges from restoring ancient manuscripts to conserving original sound recordings. To highlight the latter, we created an interactive sound installation that guides the user through the audio restoration process, from altering the pitch and tone of famous speeches to boosting the EQ’s of damaged records.

We’ve been working on some new widgets for Last.FM, which is cool. With over 15 million active users, Last.FM is the world’s largest social music platform. If you’re not already a user go there and join the social music revolution - and check out the 'charts' widgets too!

Last month we designed an animation for Global Hand’s 'Give Me Shelter' campaign, which encourages festival-goers to donate unwanted tents and other camping gear. The items are then given to charitable causes the world over. The animation made its first appearance at Glastonbury, and will also show at Reading and Leeds.

There haven't been many posts recently because, happily, we've been snowed under. But this is what's been going on.

Universal Leonardo has been doing us and Keepthinking proud. Following the nomination for the Design Week award, the site achieved 'In Book' status at D&AD and has been nominated for a Webby award.

Virgin Media are just about to launch a DTT digital set top box. As we designed the interface we're pretty pleased about that!

Wildlife photographer David Fettes asked us to create a site for all the lions, tigers and elephants he's caught on camera. Launch is in May.

HandyAV approached us to work on the conceptual development of some exciting new touchscreen products they're bringing to market this year.

We’ve just won a pitch to create a sound installation for The British Library, which opens in April this year.

Il capannone Bicocca é un nuovo spazio Milano as if anyone here can speak Italian! But that didn’t stop us having a wonderful time working with Keepthinking on the website for the Hangar Bicocca in Milan.

The Hangar itself is a vast and dynamic center of artistic production, documentation and promotion, whilst the website aims to communicate the unique nature of the gallery and provide information for vistors. Excitingly, both have helped give rise to a dialogue about contemporary art between Milan and the international art community.

Work has just got underway on some new interactive projects with Sony Design Centre Europe, which is great! These projects are the latest development in a six year relationship between the Sony team and John and Matt.

A fun project with a musical theme – we’ve just completed the identity and website for singer songwriter Sally J Johnson

We’re very happy to have signed a new contract with Sony Ericsson. We’ll now be working with SE’s internal design team for the remainder of 2006 and into 2007.

Today we moved into a 1600sq ft open plan space in the heart of Shoreditch. Though the new studio is only a small step away from our old home, the move is a giant leap for all involved. Now we have a better base from which to serve our clients and loads more room to grow!

‘What HiFi’ magazine has chosen our Freeview Ferguson Prism Digital receiver as a ‘top christmas stocking filler’. The product scores 4 out of 5 stars!

We've been designing a PVR interface for TVonics.

The latest Ferguson Freeview box is also available in stores from today. A great team effort: TVonics designed and built the box and we created the onscreen interface.
